CHAFFHAYE BASIC FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:

Hay replacer:
Introduce Slowly, we recommend using Chaffhaye as a “TOPPING” sprinkled over your horses’ feed for the first few days. (about a 3 lb. coffee can full)

 EVERY HORSE IS DIFFERENT:

When horse is used to the topping, add one 8 qt bucket full (about 4 lbs)to regular feed and start to slowly eliminate usual feed.

AFTER 7 TO 10 DAYS add two 8qt buckets of Chaffhaye to feed and continue to eliminate more original hay.

MONITOR YOUR HORSES’ appetite for CHAFFHAYE. We recommend 1.5lbs of Chaffhaye for every 100 lbs of weight.

Some horses enthusiastically eat and enjoy Chaffhaye, others are slower to get used to a moist and aromatic feed.

GOAL: FEED ABOUT 15 TO 20 LBS
